Dr. Gregory Nicola is a highly respected physician and authority on health policy and economics with more than more than 20 years of experience in clinical and health care leadership in both academic and private medicine. In addition to being Chief Medical Officer of NeuTigers, where he oversees the development of medical Edge AI platforms, Dr. Nicola is a practicing neuroradiologist and attending Radiologist at a major hospital network in New Jersey.
Dr. Nicola serves as a leader and board member within his hospital network, as well as within several nationally recognized leading medical specialty societies. He is an advocate for high quality, affordable medical care particularly focused on reducing medical waste.
Dr. Nicola’s, peer reviewed published work encompasses more than 66 papers as well as numerous Scientific Presentations and Abstracts. As recognized expert, he is been a speaker in more than 40 academic, medical and technology conferences.
Dr Nicola trained at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical Center and is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology.
At NeuTigers, he developments Edge AI platforms that analyze physiological sensors data to identify their effects on disease states and predict health conditions. He’s supported clinical trials and proof of concepts that have shown the ability these algorithms to predict the presence of SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19, diabetes and mental health issues to high levels of confidence.
He’s an author and a reviewer of peer submissions for medical journals including the Journal American College of Radiology, the American Journal of Roentgenology and Clinical Imaging.
