Mark holds degrees in materials science (MSc. Michigan State University) and mechanical engineering (Dr. sc. ETH Zurich). He has worked in the development of various technology and sensor products including smart catheter (Medyria AG), connected car (Carhub / Mullen Technologies), wearable strain sensors and patient journey characterization based on artificial intelligence. Through iDezo GmbH he has developed user experience and storytelling projects. As a product developer he is focused on the interface between humans and technology, building systems that combine user experience, sensors, and artificial intelligence to deliver new and enhanced experiences. Currently he is developing neurotechnology and ear EEG products at IDUN Technologies AG. Additionally, he enjoys contributing to hackathons as a mentor including THE Port Humanitarian Hackathon at CERN and SciFilmIt, a three-day science filmmaking event that brings researchers and artists together to create short science films in teams.
